Like a drug detector = sniffer dogs in airports. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth is finally here no matter if it hurts. The main content of v.NOSE [La verdadera nariZ] is first to be focused on Columbia, and to spread new social and political values/concepts over the Net. This may in the future, be altering and---why not---changing our present reality, - [Believing in Cultural Jamming]. Art used as a way of stating political issues, that in a more rough way, could only be violent non-intelligent aggressions,-[we can't stand living on the pain and blood of undefended and abused people, who just happened to be born and live in a jungle where coca, marihuana and amapola is grown, not for making local folk ritual, but for over-excessive trendy cool parties in a plastic discotheque somewhere in the rich first world]. We believe in the guerrilla war of the symbolic, and our goal is not to have a colour or partie, but being free new minds, far from corrupted and selfish actions. Minds with strong conviction, and beliefs in the net as a common place where we can share what we know and what we feel with others around the world. Looking to get through, sharing "networks that don't neutralize the signs of difference", ones that reinforce them to continue. Our country needs examples, values and ideas. We want to open this channel in a completely open minded way, because we are tired of lies. Our country is not for [fucking] sale. Working for other possible perspectives of reality [for colombia and for outsiders]. A difficult task because we should have our ideology clear enough not to create more confusion -[read confusion as a synonym for todays Columbia], instead try to create some concepts and diverse points of view that can share the same web server, even the same web page, without crashing the computer as happens in the reality of every colombian day, because of selfish, unjust and ignorant interests. We intend to call our country's attention to this content that we believe is not going to feed the vortex of the hurricane of confusion. A media campaign to call attention not only for a day, but for a period of time long enough to get the spirit into the air [a dedicated life online, plus real time commitment]. Setting up and independent server, access/connection, programming/designing. This very simple web project is supposed to grow as a node for clear content about what can be considered the role of the artist in times of war. That means a web site based on information and ideas for the columbians and for the net world, to present other possible ways to understand the conflicts we all around the globe are currently undergoing, and the various ways and attitudes needed to stand strong before them. The network is growing and the challenge and task is how to connect this whole world, in terms of real life experience in real planetary time, this means how to share for example with the Baltic, our time in the south. How can we begin the south and east relations, and get over the east/west and north/south's historical bipolarities. It's in our hands. Technology is one powerful instrument that we should take a grasp on, as a gun for conceptual bullets crossing borders, as an insurgent might see it.
